Born and raised in the rock and roll CAPITAL OF THE WORLD Cleveland, Ohio, DEBI LEWIN has more than 37 years of experience in show business as a professional singer, entertainer, dancer, band manager and producer. Debi's knowledge of music comes from a history of three generations of musicians. The Lewin family is recognized for their vast musical backgrounds spanning from classical and theatrical to rock and roll.  Debi started her career in 1980 in musical theater, starring in such productions as "Evita," playing the notorious "Eva Peron," "Cassie" in "A Chorus Line" and also producing and performing in many Broadway reviews and Happy to Say Always Sold Out One Woman Shows. Moving from genre to genre and singing in four languages makes Debi one of the most versatile performers who'll ever hear.  Performing in Las Vegas with Wayne Newton at the "Sand's Hotel" and on the Jerry Lewis Telethon has been one of the many highlights of Debi's career. She has also performed in Las Vegas at "Caesar's Palace," "The Aladdin," "Sahara," "Stratosphere" and "The Riviera Hotel."  Debi has also had the pleasure of performing with or doing background vocals for Lou Gramm, Andy Kim, Ron Dante, The Scintas, Eric Carmen, Mitch Ryder, Chris Montez, Felix Cavaliere, Maxine Nightingale, Southside Johnny, Deniece Williams, Patty Smythe, Kim Carnes, Louis Prima Jr, Martha Reeves, Mark Farner and the beat goes on.  Debi had the pleasure of promoting shows for Late Sonny Geraci of "The Outsiders" and performing with Paul Shaffer and "The David Letterman Band" at "The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame."  Over a 10-year period of 1997-2007, Debi performed in Cleveland and across the country with the  popular Pink Floyd tribute band, "Wish You Were Here," as well as singing background vocals, both recorded and live, for "Beau Coup" and Michael Stanley.  Timmy & The Tuxedo's was her first band and The Cover Girls which was a Cleveland Favorite (Performing with Jennifer Lee, Rich Spina and Billy Sullivan). Currently Debi shares the spotlight with The Cleveland Poptarts and the Florida Poptarts and also performs with her very talented brother Dennis Lewin.  Debi Lewin's CD "A Woman of Standards" is aired on radio station 91.5. MOST RECENTLY-Debi is the proud co-manager of Kaley Ann Voorhees who is currently playing the role of  Christine  in The longest running musical in Broadway history The Phantom of the Opera. Kaley was discovered in the National Singing Star Competition, which Debi produces with Business Partner Julie Matthews. Judge and Charity Leader for another Singing Competition Dream Night Talent Search which gives up and coming talent the chance to be heard by The Voice, America's Got Talent and Little Big Shots. Theatrical Agent for Mars Talent also can be added to her stellar resume. Debi is also proud to help her father, Ellis Lewin with sharing his story about his horrific experience in the Holocaust to students and adults and to keep the memory of their family and to NEVER FORGET. Vocal coaching and MC can be added to her list of many talents. Now The Proud Promoter of All The Amazing Shows at the Viva Starlgiht Room with her long time friend and business partner Julie Matthews. It has been Debi's vision for many years to bring a New York/Vegas style showroom to the Cleveland area. Debi is also committed to helping undiscovered talent realize their dream! THE AMERICAN PERFORMING ARTS NETWORK has been in business since 1993 working in the field of talent scouting, feature film casting and competitive fundraising events.
Founder, JULIE MATTHEWS is committed to using her show business skills to develop and produce fundraising events for Children's Miracle Network affiliated hospitals nationwide, hosting events such as the NATIONAL SEARCH FOR AMERICA'S MOST PHOTOGENIC BABY (www.photogenicbaby.com), the NATIONAL SINGING STAR competition (www.nationalsingingstar.com) and THE WEIGHT IS OVER competition (www.theweightisover.com). ; Julie is proud to say that her company has raised more than $$$ 4 Million Dollars $$$ for CMN affiliated hospitals nationwide since 1993.
JULIE MATTHEWS has worked successfully as a character actress, on-camera talent, vocalist, agent, casting director, talent scout, producer, television director, acting coach, publicist, Talent Manager and writer since 1982.  Julie's latest film project, the feature film documentary, EGGSHELLAND, which she co-produced, has earned numerous awards at film festivals nationally and internationally.  Her current feature film writing, co-producing and casting projects are SOUPERNATURAL and THE CONtest, both in development. 
 
Major motion pictures casting credits include "A Christmas Story", "Babe Ruth", "Hoffa", "Public Eye", "Dead and Alive", "Major League", "The Light of Day", "Bob Roberts" and "The Year That Trembled".   Major commercial 
casting credits include Ford Motor Company, and Target.  Julie produced and hosted the local television show "Cleveland Rocks" for 6 seasons.  Most recently, Julie has worked in Montreal as a feature film casting director and teaches on screen acting workshops at The Montreal School Of Performing Arts.  
 
In New York City, Julie studied acting at the famed Actors Studio. She also studied at HB Studio with the late Sandy Dennis, Charles Nelson Reily, Hal Holden and Ute Hagan.  Her on screen film credits include: "A Christmas Story", "Major League", "The Light of Day", and "Bob Roberts".
 
As founder and director of the American Performing Arts Network, Julie developed the critically acclaimed workshop, "How To Get Into Show Business The Right Way", which was featured on numerous national and local television talk shows and newscasts, on radio and in newspapers including 60 Minutes, Sally Jesse Raphael, USA Today, New York Times, and WLUP Chicago with Danny Bonaduce. Julie was the focus of a featured segment on 60 MINUTES with The Donna Reed Show's PAUL PETERSEN, recognizing her talent and ability to coach actors and direct screen tests.
 
Julie has toured and developed many television projects with classic tv icons such as Pat Priest and Butch Patrick (The Munsters), Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk), Kathy Garver (Family Affair), Elmarie Wendall (3rd Rock From The Sun), Erin Murphy (Bewitched), Stan Livingston (My Three Sons) and Tony Dow (Leave It to Beaver), to name a few.
 
Julie started her singing career as the youngest member to ever be admitted into the legendary Singing Angels, where she remembers singing for the President! After 7 years on stage performing back to back musical theatre,  Julie sang with the popular harmonizing quartet, Tuxedo Junction for 4 years.  She currently works as a studio vocalist recording back up harmonies for several recording artists and sings with the popular 60's girl group, The PopTarts, who recently composed and recorded an original Christmas album. Two songs from The PopTarts record, (one sung by Julie), are currently featured in the LIFETIME movie, Love At The Christmas Table, starring Danika McKellar (The Wonder Years).

Julie is beyond excited to be Co-Producer, Co-Creative Director and Publicist for all Shows at the Viva Starlight Room with long time friend and business partner Debi Lewin, this has been a Dream of hers too!
